Jean Atlan was a Jewish-French painter. Jean Atlan moved in 1930 from Algeria to Paris, FR and studied philosophy at the 'Sorbonne', where he taught later. In 1946 he joined the CoBrA group. He is a major figure in the 'Nouvelle Ecole de Paris'. His major works are among the Lyricism. He was known for his poster 'Galerie Bing' from 1959. Website is growing every day
